Palin kills Turkeys
The leftists are all agog about Sarah Palin and the Great Turkey Massacre.
Americans eat up to 300 million turkeys each year. Not until Sarah Palin held a press conference did American journalists realise someone actually had to kill these birds first, and that this was brutal and evil, and that it all proved that Palin was unfit for public office.
Tim Blair also covers the fuss the leftist media have made about the turkeys getting the chop. What are the media all in a bother about? This;
I have used the uncensored version, MSNBC have published a censored version to remove all the gory parts…..yeah that’s what I thought too. Tim Blair’s updates are hilarious;
Shuster (who urges that young viewers be shielded from the interview) also seems appalled that Palin had “no worries” over being filmed at the tragic turkey massacre site. Even worse – bloodlusting bird-hater Palin admits she’ll actually cook a turkey for Thanksgiving. Among MSNBC’s captions:
• TURKEYS DIE AS GOVERNOR PALIN TAKES QUESTIONS FROM MEDIA • GOV. SARAH KEEPS TALKING WHILE TURKEYS GET SLAUGHTERED BEHIND HER • GOV. PALIN APPARENTLY OBLIVIOUS TO TURKEY CARNAGE OVER HER SHOULDER
What did they expect her to do? Intervene?
Pathetic, what a massive beat-up over a few turkeys. How the hell did these poofs think the turkey got to their tables for Thanksgiving.
I didn’t think I could like Sarah Palin more than I do, but the nancy boys at MSNBC bleating all over the screen about the Great Turkey Carnage is hilarious. This is a great caption:
TURKEYS DIE AS GOVERNOR PALIN TAKES QUESTIONS FROM MEDIA
Or was it: MEDIA DIE AS GOVERNOR PALIN TAKES QUESTIONS FROM TURKEYS.
After she’s sworn in in 2013, I hope President Palin arranges for a ritual turkey slaughter to be going on behind her at every press conference, if only during David Shuster’s questions.
Movember - 8 days to go
it is 8 days to go till the end of Movember. The blogosphere has so far proven to be a bunch of slackers at either joining in, or raising funds.
Busted Blonde has contributed, surely there are others out there that can too. It is simple, just click the link, donate with your credit card and feel better about yourself for helping the fight against Depression and prostate Cancer.
On that note I just received this email from Aaron Gilmore who just squeaked into parliament on National’s list by a mere 40 votes.
Cam -
Given what seems a complete bizarre achievement of getting into Parliament by 40 votes out of 70 electorates according to DPF the closest ridiculous amount possible, I am celebrating by donating to all the Movember people I am following as it is the cause that promotes Blokes staying alive.
So look for $100 from me in the mail.
Kind regards,
Aaron Gilmore Member of Parliament (Designate) National Party List
The rest of you slackers better get “behind” this or you might suffer the same fate that befalls others that cross the Whale.
Google to try OEM strategy to kill IE
Google is trying to work deals with PC manufacturers for them to bundle Chrome on their machine. This is straight out of the Microsoft playbook that saw IE leap to the front in the browser wars.
I haven’t personally spent much time playing with Chrome for a couple of reasons. Firstly they have yet to release a Mac version. I am pretty much entirely based around Mac these days and so if Google want me to play with their browser then best they hurry up and get me a OSX version to play with. Secondly, and I’m not sure how qualified I am with this one, but there are numerous plugins and add-ons that I use with Firefox that keeps that browser my standard. I couldn’t download and extract many of the videos from MSm sites without my Firefox add-ons.
Still this strategy could see the masses converting unknowingly en-masse to Google Chrome. Whether or not that is a good thing remains to be seen as the Google behemoth rolls over and onwards.
Special votes see Greens gain seat, Nats lose one
Special votes see Greens gain seat, Nats lose - The Greens gain a new MP and National lose one with the special votes now counted. There were 270,965 special votes - that is people who voted in advance, from outside their electorate or overseas. The results were released… [NZ Herald Politics]
Bugger, if anyone should have lost seats it should be those mendacious pricks in Labour. I think it is definately time to toss MMP out on its arse.
Cam Calder retires to the bench once again, hoping that another MP will take a dive for him to make it back into parliament.
A call to immigration - Part Two
You may remember my original call to immigration on the 13 November. I certainly do. This was the call where “Christine” decided to abuse and slag off our new Prime Minister to me.
I blogged it and did nothing more. Contrary to the story the union are floating round, I never made a formal complaint or did anything other than blog this case of extremely foolish politiciking by a immigration staff member.
Unfortunately for “Christine” it seems that there are many people above her in Immigration and certainly many MP’s.
I have heard today from an impeccable source that “Christine” won’t be working for Immigration for terribly much longer. Several long meetings have been held about her inappropriate customer interface skills.
A note to assholes out there, never, ever piss of the Whale.
If I had a photo of “Christine” I would add her to the trophy wall beside Brenden Sheehan and Winston Raymond Peters, 63, unemployed of no fixed abode.
Downfall has again been used, this time to look a the current financial crisis.
A little quiz
Oswald is a wanker, I usually studiously avoid these types of things, but since I have nothing better to do here goes.
I have just been pinged by one of these blog tag thingies by Oswald Bastable - so:
I was born in Fiji
I sponsor three children in India
I have 5 chickens to keep me in eggs
Most of my good friends are Scorpio. Don’t, whatever else you do, piss us off
I was once ranked in the Top 5 of Action Pistol shooters in NZ.
I know a fair bit about money laundering and fraud.
I love Lebanese food.
The rules are: 1. Link to the person who tagged you 2. Post the rules 3. Share seven random or weird facts about yourself 4. Tag 7 random people at the end of the post with their links 5. Let each person know they’ve been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.
Right- should you accept this mission- you can write something too!
Nats’ goal: Tougher bail laws by Christmas - Criminals will soon find it harder to get bail as the National Government moves immediately to get tough on law and order. Justice Minister Simon Power said repealing bail laws passed by the Labour-led Government would be a priority… [NZ Herald Politics]
I hope these law changes are real tough, not just tough talking.
If they couple this law change together with ACT’s 3 strikes law then we could be onto something.
Personally I think rapists should be kicked in the nuts at least once a week during their time in the pokey.
Cock in the Cookie Jar
I know the headline is misleading but this story isn’t about the Cock from Campbells Bay Andrew Williams.
It is about a guy in Australia who ran from the cops, caused a 20km car chase all because he had his cock and balls stuffed in a jar. Not only that, when the cops caught him they found pornography, a home-made sex aid, women’s stockings and a Jack Russell terrier!!!!
